The internationally acclaimed betting Philippines betting company J9 has entered into a global partnership with The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) in a bid to bring the game closer to fans. The betting partnership gave J9 commercial rights for several of FIBA’s flagship events, including the 2023 Basketball World Cup, continental cups, and the 2022 Women’s Basketball World Cup.

The partnership makes J9 the tenth and latest official partner of FIBA until 2024. The betting company will be presenting the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Trophy Tour to fans and will be using its large platform to fulfill social responsibility activities related to basketball. The betting company recently launched the J9.basketball domain that will be used to promote all basketball-related content as a part of the agreement.

The Managing Director of J9.com, James Chen, said it was an honor for the company to become a global partner of FIBA and be given the opportunity to contribute to the development of basketball globally. Chen also said, “With our innovative and digital ways, we are sure that we will be able to help FIBA deliver the charm and joy of basketball to more fans across the world.”

The media and marketing services Director General of FIBA, Frank Leenders, said FIBA was excited to have J9 join the family as one of its latest global partners. Frank Leenders said, “The partnership will certainly boost FIBA’s goals of advancing the promotion of basketball worldwide while at the same time bringing fans closer to the game through new and improved experiences, including the Trophy Tour and other activities supported by our new global partner J9.”

The partnership deal was arranged and brokered by FIBA Marketing, the strategic partnership between FIBA and Infront.

The partnership aims to provide a world-class gaming experience to both J9 users and FIBA fans all over the globe. The J9 immersive platform will be used to connect millions of basketball fans all over the globe, while the J9.com brand will gain more awareness through the use of FIBA’s platform.
