According to district officials, Gautam Buddh Nagar includes the industrial cities of Noida & Greater Noida. Since November 2022’s announcement of Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit, Gautam Buddh Nagar has received investments proposals in excess of Rs 5.86 crore crore.
The UP Global Investors Summit will be held in Lucknow starting February 10, and the state government, headed by Chief Minister Yogi Aityanath has set a goal of Rs 175,000 crore investments through this ambitious drive.
Adityanath also directed state officials to host investment summits at the district-level in each one of the 75 districts. Road shows were being held in other states to attract investors.
“The Gautam Buddh Nagar district-level investor summit was held on January 20, during which around 250 investors submitted investment proposals totalling Rs 11,502 crore,” Anil Kumar, Deputy Commissioner (Industries), Gautam Buddh Nagar stated.
“So far, 871 investors have sent investment intentions in Gautam Buddhnagar worth Rs 5.86 crore crore. These investments will create 18.46 million jobs. 792 of these 871 investors have signed MoUs worth Rs 3.78 crore crore. Kumar stated that these investment intentions have been made since November 21, 2022.”
According to the deputy commissioner, investment proposals were received in several fields, including agriculture, cooperative, dairy, civil aviation and information, renewable energy. Gautam Buddh Nagar, which is located in western Uttar Pradesh, has been called the financial capital of the State. It is a show window to the outside world because it houses many factories, industries, and private companies.
